Wendell Hollinger Announces Retirment from Safe Harbour

Wendell Hollinger, President and CEO of Safe Harbour for 22 years, has announced his pending retirement from the non-profit organization in August 2017.

The Safe Harbour Board of Directors immediately will begin a search for the next President and Chief Executive Officer of Safe Harbour.  The search will be conducted with assistance from Greg Lowe, Partner and Chief Operating Officer with McKonly & Asbury. Lowe heads up the firm’s permanent placement practice, assisting many of the region’s top organizations in their search for roles ranging from Staff Accountant to CEO.

During his time at Safe Harbour, Hollinger has been responsible for the overall direction and administration of all programs in fulfilling Safe Harbour’s mission of providing housing and supportive services for homeless and nearly homeless individuals and families.  His primary duties include management of finance, facilities, policies, practices and the relationships between employees and the clients that they serve.  Hollinger also has worked closely and collaboratively with the Safe Harbour Board of Directors to monitor progress and promote the growth of the organization.
