We are thrilled to announce that Safe Harbour raised $68,498 during the 2025 Match Madness campaign—nearly triple our total from last year! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we were proud to be named one of the top five fundraisers this year, helping further our mission of providing shelter, support, and stability to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
This success is part of a powerful regional effort led by the Partnership for Better Health, which, along with generous contributions from WellSpan Health and the M&T Charitable Foundation, provided $150,000 in stretch fund dollars to amplify the impact of every gift. Together, this year’s campaign raised a staggering $1,174,053 for participating nonprofits—an investment that strengthens the health and well-being of our entire community.
What makes Match Madness so special is its month-long focus on the Social Determinants of Health—factors like safe housing, nutritious food, and community connection that directly affect a person’s well-being. Even though nearly 200 fewer donations were received this year, the average donation increased by $50, reflecting the incredible commitment of our supporters.
We’re honored to stand alongside Project SHARE, Community CARES, Bosler Memorial Library, and CWS Harrisburg as top fundraisers, and we extend our congratulations to all participating nonprofits working to improve lives across Cumberland, Perry, and Adams Counties, and the Shippensburg area.
To all who gave: thank you. To WellSpan Health, M&T Charitable Foundation, and the Partnership for Better Health: thank you for believing in our mission and helping us multiply our impact. Together, we are building a healthier, more hopeful future.
