Our Client Services committee identified the need for reliable, accessible transportation to improve the provision of supportive services for our residents as well as facilitate day to day operations at Safe Harbour.
During our Night Without A Tux Gala in February, we mentioned that need for a reliable mode of transportation for our residents, hoping for some leads on a reasonably priced van….well someone heard us!
Thanks to the generosity of our friends at GET Leasing, Inc. and Family Ford, Safe Harbour is now the proud owner of this 12 passenger van! Donation pick ups, shopping trips, and appointments will now all happen much more easily! Staff is able to utilize the van for a multitude of projects, as well as simply making transportation for residents less of a challenge in their day to day life.
